These authentic 1980-dated U.S. military ERDL camouflage trousers were manufactured by S.W.I. under contract, featuring the rare Poplin, Class 2 construction. Cut in the Lowland ERDL pattern, these pants were part of the transitional gear developed post-Vietnam as the U.S. Army moved toward newer camouflage systems. Made from lightweight, breathable 100% cotton ripstop poplin, they were ideal for jungle or temperate climates, offering comfort and durability in high-humidity conditions.
With classic features such as large cargo pockets, waist adjustment tabs, and drawstring cuffs, these trousers reflect the design standards of Cold War-era field gear. The zipper fly closure uses an original brass IDEAL zipper, paired with a reinforced seat for added durability. These pants are becoming increasingly scarce, especially in this condition and size.
