Originally issued to U.S. military aviators, these Flyers Summer Coveralls were engineered for performance, safety, and function in hot weather environments. Constructed from a flame-resistant aramid blend, these coveralls offer lightweight protection for flight crews operating in high-temperature conditions.

This particular piece is marked with the shoulder patch of the 10th Mountain Division, a storied unit known for mountain warfare and cold-weather operations—an interesting juxtaposition for summer-weight flight gear, likely indicating service during air mobility operations in diverse climates.

The design features an abundance of utility pockets, Velcro nameplate panels, and rugged zippers suitable for cockpit use. The subdued sage green color is consistent with mid-to-late 1990s to early 2000s U.S. military flight gear.

Manufactured by Equa Industries under contract SPO100-96-D-0302, these coveralls reflect the military's transitional adoption of advanced flame-resistant textiles during the post-Cold War era.
